Job Overview:
Fidelity Cash Solutions (FCS) is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to fill the role of Cash Centre Supervisor at our Hermanstad branch. The main objective of this role is to ensure that all deposit processing is completed accurately and efficiently, in line with service agreements. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality in the counting and verification processes carried out by the team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Clear criminal record
- Computer literacy is essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cash centre or similar role (preferred)
- Treasury experience will be an added advantage
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and closing of the Cash Centre (where applicable)
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Accurate counting and verification of cash
- Daily cash balancing and reconciliation
- Recounting of funds in case of discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date reports and daily statistics
- Ensure completeness, neatness, and proper filing of documentation
- Confirm physical cash balances with schedule records
- Ensure registers are properly completed and signed daily
- Promptly and professionally handle incident and client reports
- Address client queries effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Enforce discipline and maintain order within the Cash Centre
- Assume accountability for the operations of the Cash Centre in the absence of a manager
