Position: General Duty Assistant – On-Site Maintenance Department

Are you looking to be part of a dynamic and supportive team at our Vanderbijlpark facility? We’re currently seeking motivated and qualified candidates for the role of General Duty Assistant within our On-Sites Maintenance Department. If you meet the criteria below, we encourage you to apply!**
Key Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping: Ensure that the plant remains clean, organized, and in a presentable condition at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining equipment in line with established quality standards.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or N3 qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a heavy industry environment
- Hands-on experience in a mechanical workshop setting
- Basic understanding of mechanical tasks and procedures
- Knowledge and formal training in the safe use of hand tools and mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with standard safety practices and protocols
- Physically fit, with a willingness to work overtime when necessary
