Job Description

Key Responsibilities

General Duties (Including but not limited to):
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Road Transport Law, including traffic fines.
  • Experience with MiX Telematics tracking system (advantageous).
  • Assist with various fleet-related tasks.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Manage tracking systems, including updates and reporting.
  • Obtain quotations for procurement purposes.
  • Process monthly contract payments.
  • Generate and submit reports as required.
  • Update tracking system details, including driver ID tags and contact information.
  • Coordinate the de-installation and re-installation of tracking units.
  • Arrange repairs as necessary.
  • Compile weekly reports on private kilometer usage for company-owned vehicles.
  • Organize and manage load tests for cranes and forklifts.
  • Perform daily checks on municipal websites for newly issued traffic fines.
  • Record and track new traffic fines.
  • Identify and notify drivers responsible for fines.
  • Prepare monthly reports for HR to facilitate deductions.
  • Arrange monthly fine payments and follow up on re-directions for former employees.
  • Maintain updated records of payments and re-directions.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and task prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Sage Evolution (advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and integrity.
  • Willingness to work after hours, including Saturdays, when required.
  • Ability to conduct monthly stock takes.
