Key Responsibilities
General Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of Road Transport Law, including traffic fines.
- Experience with MiX Telematics tracking system (advantageous).
- Assist with various fleet-related tasks.
Administrative Tasks:
- Manage tracking systems, including updates and reporting.
- Obtain quotations for procurement purposes.
- Process monthly contract payments.
- Generate and submit reports as required.
- Update tracking system details, including driver ID tags and contact information.
- Coordinate the de-installation and re-installation of tracking units.
- Arrange repairs as necessary.
- Compile weekly reports on private kilometer usage for company-owned vehicles.
- Organize and manage load tests for cranes and forklifts.
- Perform daily checks on municipal websites for newly issued traffic fines.
- Record and track new traffic fines.
- Identify and notify drivers responsible for fines.
- Prepare monthly reports for HR to facilitate deductions.
- Arrange monthly fine payments and follow up on re-directions for former employees.
- Maintain updated records of payments and re-directions.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Sage Evolution (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and integrity.
- Willingness to work after hours, including Saturdays, when required.
- Ability to conduct monthly stock takes.
