Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable Code 14 Truck Driver with proven crane operation experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of goods using a crane-mounted truck. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong safety awareness, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Code 14 truck to transport goods safely between designated locations.
- Use a crane to load and unload cargo, ensuring safe and secure handling at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle and crane inspections.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, inspection checklists, and related documentation.
- Comply with traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Secure cargo properly to avoid damage during transit.
- Report vehicle faults, crane issues, or any incidents to management promptly.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Provide general assistance on-site as required, including basic equipment maintenance.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license.
- Certified crane operator (preferably with mobile crane experience) or proven hands-on experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role involving crane operations.
- Solid knowledge of transport and crane safety regulations.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong verbal communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
