Position Overview
Our client in Johannesburg is looking for a reliable and professional Driver (Code 10 with PrDP) to join their team on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of printing and signage materials, while also supporting warehouse and logistics operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport signage and printing products to and from customers and suppliers.
- Load and offload goods, ensuring accurate stock checks before and after delivery.
- Follow delivery schedules and ensure on-time, accurate drop-offs.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, roadworthy, and in excellent condition.
- Comply with all traffic laws and internal transport policies.
- Assist with general warehouse and logistics tasks when required.
- Represent the company professionally, maintaining a neat and courteous appearance.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, the sales team, and customers.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role.
- Strong command of English (verbal and written).
- Professional, presentable, and well-groomed.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with excellent people skills.
- Good knowledge of Durban’s routes and road networks.
- Capable of handling and securing deliveries safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Remuneration
- Monthly salary (to be discussed during the interview process).
