Our client, a reputable underwriting administrator specializing in vehicle-related products, is looking for a Vehicle Claims Administrator. These products are typically sold by Finance & Insurance Managers at dealerships during the vehicle purchase process. The company manages the entire claims process, including client and service provider communication, claim assessment, and payment execution.
Position: Vehicle Claims Administrator
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Claims Administrator, ideally with a background in claims management. The role is within the service industry, so it requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and process vehicle-related insurance claims
- Communicate professionally with clients and service providers
- Validate claims and ensure correct documentation is received
- Process payments efficiently and accurately
- Maintain records and provide status updates as needed
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is essential
- A diploma or degree is advantageous
- Proven experience in claims handling
- Bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with strong proficiency in both languages
- Professional telephone etiquette
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Email
