Excellent career opportunity for a detail-oriented Utilities Administrator within the metering services sector. The role focuses on managing and monitoring metering consumption, ensuring accurate billing and reporting. This position offers a hybrid working model.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • 2–3 years’ experience in utilities and administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong numeracy skills and the ability to analyse and process data into actionable insights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Import meter readings into the billing system
  • Review readings for completeness and accuracy
  • Estimate meter readings when data is incomplete
  • Identify and report any billing discrepancies to clients
  • Monitor and manage meter consumption to ensure accurate billing
  • Assist with municipal or council-related queries
  • Create and track job cards for technical issues
  • Prepare and submit flat files as required
  • Review tariffs according to standard operating procedures
  • Address and resolve client queries and issues
  • Provide timely and professional feedback to clients
  • Support the Team Lead with additional administrative tasks
