This role is critical to ensuring that stock levels are accurately monitored, controlled, and replenished to meet business and customer needs.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and investigate variances
- Oversee receiving and dispatch processes to ensure accuracy and quality
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock to meet food safety standards
- Implement and enforce stock control procedures and minimize stock losses
- Maintain inventory management systems and prepare stock-related reports
- Assist with audits and compliance checks as required
✅ Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Minimum of 2–3 years experience in stock control, preferably in the food industry
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems and stock management processes
- Computer literate (MS Excel, inventory software)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations is an advantage
