Job Purpose:
To ensure excellent customer service at the point of sale (POS) through accurate processing, efficient merchandising, and effective promotion of products and rewards, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process all POS transactions efficiently and on time
- Scan merchandise and handle payments with precision, including ClubCard rewards
- Ensure safe cash handling practices at all times
- Promote and register new Clicks ClubCard members to meet participation targets
- Inform customers of ongoing promotions to increase sales and enhance satisfaction
- Provide professional, friendly, and visible customer service as a brand ambassador
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards in line with company guidelines
- Support Clicks’ vision of being the preferred health and beauty retailer by living the company values
- Stay informed about current products, ranges, promotions, and in-store events to assist customers effectively
