Merchandiser / Shelf Packer (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Plumstead
We are currently offering a fixed-term contract opportunity for Merchandisers / Shelf Packers to join our team in Plumstead. This role is ideal for candidates with retail experience who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining excellent in-store presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all product lines are consistently stocked and well-presented on shelves
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with basic stock management
- Promptly report stock shortages or product issues to store management
- Maintain clean and orderly displays in line with store presentation standards
- Remove damaged or outdated items to ensure store compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 3 months to 1 year of relevant experience in shelf packing or merchandising, preferably in a food or beverage retail environment
- Basic computer literacy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Clear criminal record
