Position: Personal Assistant / Administrator – Tax Division

Location: Howick, KwaZulu-Natal
Salary: R10,000 (negotiable)


Introduction

Our client in Howick operates in a fast-paced financial environment and is seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented PA/Administrator to support the Head of the Tax Division. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in financial or legal administration, who understands the importance of accuracy and its impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Follow instructions and established processes meticulously
  • Maintain and organize records, files, and databases
  • Prepare financial documents (contracts, briefs, agreements) using existing templates
  • Handle communication with clients and stakeholders via phone and email
  • Schedule meetings and manage deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to compliance procedures and regulations
  • Provide general administrative support (filing, scanning, copying)
  • Conduct basic legal or compliance research as required
  • Assist with case preparation and file management
  • Maintain high standards of accurate document filing

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a similar administrative role
  • Proven ability to follow instructions and processes
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in legal or financial administration is advantageous
