Position: Personal Assistant to the General Manager

📍 Location: Roodepoort, Gauteng (Robertville Branch)
🗂️ Division: Guarding Division


Position Overview

A vacancy exists for a Personal Assistant (PA) to the General Manager within the Guarding Division, based at the Robertville office. This role is responsible for delivering high-level administrative, secretarial, and coordination support to the GM, ensuring the efficient operation of daily tasks and business activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant post-school qualification in Administration or Secretarial Studies
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a PA or Administrator supporting senior/executive management
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary
  • Clean criminal record and no pending legal matters
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Self-starter with a high level of motivation and energy
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable personal transport
  • Willing to travel when required
  • Must reside in or near the Roodepoort/Krugersdorp area

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Manage the GM’s diary, appointments, and client engagements
  • Provide general office and administrative support
  • Handle all email correspondence and written communication
  • Screen incoming calls and take detailed messages
  • Take minutes at key meetings and engagements
  • Uphold confidentiality protocols at all times
  • Liaise with various stakeholders across the business unit
  • Consolidate and compile management reports on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Type and format documents, reports, and presentations
  • Assist with resolving day-to-day operational queries and provide administrative coordination for the area of responsibility
