Role Purpose:
To perform consistent, accurate, and high-quality sampling, sub-sampling, and preparation of both internal and customer materials in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Conduct sampling within specified timeframes and in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle essential admin tasks, including data capturing and processing through LIMS.
- Share operational updates, including production status, equipment availability, SHEQ matters, and general notifications with peers and supervisors.
- Monitor operational risks and take corrective action as approved.
- Ensure efficient equipment usage.
- Adhere to security and Metal Assurance protocols.
- Support and participate in SHEQ programs.
- Comply with IT and ERP (LIMS) system policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A completed Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), LIMS, and MES systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- Good networking capabilities.
