Position: Dispensary Operator
Location: Go 2 Pharma – Salt River, Cape Town
Department: Production
Reporting to: Dispensary Supervisor
Introduction
A vacancy has become available for a Dispensary Operator within the Production Department at Go 2 Pharma, located in Salt River, Cape Town. The successful candidate will report directly to the Dispensary Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Tasks
- Accurately weigh raw materials based on the batch sheet, following the correct procedures as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Perform blending operations according to batch specifications, ensuring precise calculations and measurements.
- Promptly report any issues with processes, equipment, maintenance, or environmental conditions.
- Use machinery and tools responsibly for their intended purposes.
- Complete batch documentation accurately and in full.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of equipment and work areas, ensuring cleaning registers are updated after each batch.
- Assist with stock counts and contribute to inventory accuracy.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Immediately address or report any hazardous conditions.
- Prevent incidents and accidents by operating equipment safely and adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the facility in a clean and hygienic state, following validated cleaning protocols.
- Strictly observe company policies, especially those relating to hygiene, use of PPE, and sanitation practices.
- Ensure quality is maintained throughout the production process, both during and after the task at hand.
General Conduct
- Perform duties responsibly to ensure the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the integrity of the machinery and products involved.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Subjects in Mathematics and Science are an added advantage.
- Experience: 1–3 years in a similar role within a production or dispensary environment.
