Job Title: Office Administrator
Location: Somerset West
Salary: R12,000 – R17,000 per month (commensurate with experience, skills, and current package)

Our client, a dynamic and sustainability-driven OEM company, specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems for commercial and industrial sectors. Based in Somerset West, they are looking for a proactive, friendly, and highly organised Office Administrator to join their vibrant team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
As the central support hub for the office, your duties will include:
- Communication Management: Answering calls, managing emails, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient information flow
- Calendar & Travel Coordination: Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel for staff
- Supply Management: Ordering and receiving office, kitchen, and workshop supplies, tracking inventory, and maintaining stock levels
- File & Record Keeping: Organising and maintaining physical and digital filing systems
- Meeting Support: Preparing meeting rooms, drafting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-ups on action points
- Administrative Support: Preparing documents, invoices, purchase orders, and general correspondence
- Office Coordination: Assisting with workspace planning, maintenance coordination, and keeping the office functional and welcoming
- Front Desk Duties: Welcoming clients and suppliers in a professional and courteous manner
- Team Engagement: Assisting in planning small events, birthdays, and team-building initiatives to support a positive work culture
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Gmail, and web-based applications

- A valid driver’s license (occasional deliveries/collections may be required)
- Bonus: Basic bookkeeping knowledge, including account and statement reconciliations
