Office Administrator

Introduction

A well-established FMCG company located in Midrand is seeking a dedicated and efficient Office Administrator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has solid administrative experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the switchboard and welcome visitors at reception; promptly notify relevant staff of their arrival.
  • Print and review daily clocking reports, follow up with managers regarding staff who haven’t clocked in, and ensure leave forms are completed where necessary.
  • Follow up with debtors regarding outstanding payments.
  • Request and collect creditor statements monthly.
  • Handle general office administration, including filing and record keeping.
  • Perform data capturing using the Traceability system.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve queries and coordinate deliveries.
  • Provide diary management support for one of the Directors.
  • Oversee the Chep account management.
  • Process Lunchbox Fund invoices received via email, sort them according to schedule, and update schedules with invoice numbers and quantities.
  • Once PODs are received, attach them to the corresponding supplier invoice and submit for payment.

Requirements

  • Matric certificate (essential)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport
  • Approximately 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role

Compensation

  • Salary: R18,000 per month
  • Benefits: Includes Provident Fund
