General Worker – Hardware Store

Salary: R7,800 per month
Introduction:
A hardware store based in Pretoria North is looking for a General Worker with proven experience in the DIY and hardware retail industry. This role requires hands-on support in sales, stock handling, customer service, and basic administrative tasks.
Note: Only applicants with previous hardware store experience and who reside in Pretoria North will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with product selection and queries
- Supporting sales operations on the shop floor
- Carrying and organizing stock as needed
- Performing basic administrative tasks using Excel
- Promoting DIY product knowledge and solutions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hardware or DIY store (essential)
- National Senior Certificate
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and moving stock
- Strong customer service orientation
