Responsibilities & Key Duties
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support general yard activities, including loading and offloading of trucks and containers
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across the warehouse, yard, and canteen areas
- Assist in warehouse operations: picking and packing orders, conducting stock takes, and organizing inventory
- Support the packing and correct placement of goods
- Assist in assembling micro- and family drips
- Help ensure stock is placed in the correct storage locations
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a clean and organized yard and shop floor environment
- Assist with the assembly of valve and filter bank components
Skills & Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in English (verbal and written); Afrikaans is an added advantage
- Physically fit and willing to perform labour-intensive tasks
- Strong communication and literacy skills
- Valid South African driver’s license and/or reliable means of transport
- Valid forklift license with practical experience
Education and Experience:
- Minimum qualification: Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a warehouse or yard environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: R11,500.00 per month
- Benefits: Company contribution towards a Provident Fund
