Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Worker with proven experience in cutting meat or fish to join our team in the Atlantis area. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, well-organized, and committed to maintaining quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use a variety of knives and cutting tools to butcher and prepare meat accurately.
- Identify and process different cuts of meat according to specifications.
- Ensure all meat is fresh, correctly stored, and handled in line with food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, taking orders and offering product suggestions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in meat, fish, or butchery cutting (1–2 years minimum).
- Knowledge of portioning, meat preparation techniques, and safe handling.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices and food hygiene standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
