Job Title: Dog Daycare Driver
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Salary: R8,000 CTC per month
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 05:30 – approximately 10:30 and 13:30 – approximately 18:00
Note: Hours may vary depending on the number of dogs scheduled for transport, traffic, and load-shedding.
Position Overview
A well-established dog daycare in Centurion is seeking a reliable and animal-loving individual to join their team as a Dog Transport Driver. In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely picking up and dropping off dogs between their homes and the daycare facility using a Quantum bus.
Requirements
- Must reside in Centurion
- Secure home parking for the Quantum bus, as it will be taken home after the last drop-off to start the morning route early
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- A genuine love for dogs and a good understanding of canine behavior and temperaments
- Valid Code B or EB driver’s license and comfortable driving a Quantum bus
- Must be a South African citizen
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport dogs to and from the daycare facility
- Ensure all dogs are calm, happy, and secure during the ride
- Maintain a clean and tidy bus for a safe and enjoyable trip for the dogs
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and daycare staff
- Offer feedback to pet owners about their dogs’ day when requested
- Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain safety at all times
