We are currently looking to hire a Driver to support operational needs across multiple Intercare facilities. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport of staff, patients, and medical supplies, while ensuring full compliance with safety and operational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport personnel, patients, and medical supplies to and from assigned destinations.
- Conduct regular checks and ensure the vehicle remains in good working order; promptly report any issues.
- Follow all road traffic laws and adhere to Intercare’s safety procedures.
- Manage transport schedules efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Deliver excellent service in alignment with Intercare’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license with a professional driving permit (PrDP) and a clean driving record.
- At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Understanding of OHS practices is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays on rotation.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading/unloading supplies as needed.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
