Fusion, a dynamic and growing company based in George, is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, timely, and professional delivery and collection of goods, while upholding our company’s values of service excellence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle for local and regional deliveries
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure and undamaged
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Follow all traffic laws and company driving procedures
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and in good condition
- Obtain signatures and complete delivery paperwork, including proof of delivery
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times
- Assist with basic warehouse duties when not on delivery runs
Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
- Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of roads in the George and greater Western Cape area
- Physically fit and able to handle manual loading/unloading
- Clean criminal record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Punctual, trustworthy, and safety-conscious
