Introduction
Our client, a reputable flight charter company, is seeking a professional and experienced Driver to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide chauffeur services for clients to and from Cape Town International Airport
- Operate vehicles safely, adhering strictly to traffic laws and regulations
- Plan optimal routes based on traffic, weather, and road conditions
- Follow all safety procedures, including use of seatbelts and speed regulations
- Maintain detailed records such as mileage logs and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding schedules, delays, or issues
- Secure and protect cargo during transportation, ensuring proper loading and unloading
- Adapt to changing routes, schedules, and weather conditions as required
- Ensure punctual and safe arrival of guests at their destinations
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (fluids, tyre pressure, fuel, etc.)
- Keep the company vehicle clean, presentable, and well-maintained
- Respond proactively to emergencies and unexpected situations
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license with PrDP/PDP
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a chauffeur or professional driver
- Clean driving record with no outstanding fines
- No criminal record
- Strong time management skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Proficient in GPS and map navigation
- High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality
- Physically fit, energetic, and presentable
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must have reliable transport to and from work
Remuneration:
R10,000 per month
