We’re currently seeking a reliable and experienced Code 8 Driver to join one of our valued clients in the logistics and distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan efficient delivery routes and adhere to schedules
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure goods are correctly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain required signatures
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
- Assist with general logistics and warehouse duties when required
Requirements:
- Valid South African Code 8 Driver’s License
- Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience (preferably in a delivery or logistics environment)
- Clean driving record
- Good knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, reliable, and physically fit
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
