Introduction
Zibo Containers, a leading manufacturer of thermoformed plastic packaging, is looking for a motivated, dependable, and experienced Code 14 Driver to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to be part of a dynamic logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a daily vehicle inspection checklist before and after each trip
- Ensure all goods loaded match the accompanying invoices or delivery notes
- Assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of stock
- Deliver customer orders promptly and accurately
- Fill out daily logs, work reports, and other required documentation precisely
- Operate the vehicle in full compliance with traffic regulations and company policies
- Report any vehicle issues or defects to the Warehouse or Logistics Manager without delay
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle, inside and out, on a daily and weekly basis
- Acknowledge and sign off any delivery discrepancies, immediately notifying the warehouse office
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
- Carry out any additional duties reasonably assigned by management
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with a PDP
- Clear criminal record
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role
