Job Opportunity: Code 10 (C1) Learner Truck Driver

Overview:
Are you ready to start a new career in logistics? We’re looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Code 10 Learner Truck Driver. No prior experience is required—we’ll provide full training and support. Your attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are the most important qualities we’re looking for.
Note: Applicants must already hold a valid Code 8 (B or EB) driver’s license and have a clear criminal record.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to operate a Code 10 truck for the delivery of fresh produce (initially under supervision).
- Drive smaller vehicles such as bakkies when needed.
- Ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with loading and offloading vegetables.
- Complete and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding deliveries.
- Learn routes and build familiarity with the delivery network.
- Pick up produce from partner farms as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 8 (B or EB) driver’s license
- Physically fit and able to assist with manual tasks
- Responsible, reliable, and eager to learn
- Clean criminal record

- Any experience in food or vegetable deliveries

Important Conditions:

Working Environment:
- Outdoor and varied weather conditions
- Local routes in the Gauteng area
- Farm-based location between Donkerhoek and Rayton
- Occasional extended hours may be required
Employment Details:
- Start Date: After successful completion of 2 interviews
- Work Hours: 40–45 hours per week
- Schedule: Fixed work week
- Leave:
- 1 leave day per 17 days worked
- 30 days of sick leave over a 3-year cycle
- Notice Period:
- 1 week (if employed <6 months)
- 2 weeks (6 months–1 year)
- 4 weeks (1 year or more)
Remuneration:
Monthly salary, based on your skills and experience.
