Position: Driver (Code 10 with PrDP)

🗓️ Contract: 3-Month Fixed-Term
Our client, a reputable company in Cape Town, is seeking a Code 10 Driver with a valid PrDP to join their team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of printing and signage products while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver printing and signage goods to clients and suppliers.
- Load and unload products, verifying stock accuracy during collection and delivery.
- Ensure deliveries are completed on time and in line with daily schedules.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained.
- Follow all traffic regulations and adhere to company transport procedures.
- Support general warehouse and logistics operations when needed.
- Maintain a professional, neat, and customer-friendly demeanor at all times.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, sales staff, and clients regarding deliveries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar driving role.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) for effective communication.
- Presentable, professional, and courteous.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of road routes and networks in Durban.
- Capable of securely handling and transporting goods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Salary Range:
💰 R6,500 – R9,500 per month (dependent on experience)
