Position Title:
Driver/Cleaner – Menlyn Branch
Company Overview:
Auto Pedigree, a prominent provider of quality, low-mileage used vehicles with over 70 branches nationwide, is seeking dependable, honest, and responsible individuals with relevant driving experience to join the team at our Menlyn branch.
Role Purpose:
To deliver efficient transport and cleaning services in line with standard operating procedures and legal requirements. This includes transporting vehicles, documents, goods, and customers safely and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean both the interior and exterior of vehicles to showroom standards
- Conduct quality checks on vehicles, including identifying expired licenses, upcoming service requirements, and other non-conformities
- Refuel vehicles and check essential levels (oil, water, tyre pressure, etc.)
- Safely deliver and collect vehicles to/from customers, suppliers, branches, and other destinations
- Collect and deliver documentation to banks, suppliers, and internal departments
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the branch premises
- Uphold company ethics and protect company assets and interests
- Carry out additional tasks as requested by the Branch Manager
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum Education: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Driving Experience: Minimum of 2 years
- License: Valid Code 8 driver’s license (held for at least 2 years and without endorsements)
- Other Requirements:
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and another official language
- Basic map-reading skills
