Job Purpose
The role involves providing a reliable and efficient transport service in line with established standard operating procedures and legal requirements. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods and passengers to designated locations.
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Apply known solutions to operational challenges and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
- Achieve performance objectives in accordance with established procedures and service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities to support timely and informed decision-making.
- Perform duties in compliance with governance frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Safely transport goods and passengers to assigned destinations.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and report any non-compliance or faults to a supervisor.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations during all driving activities.
- Carry out tasks efficiently to avoid unnecessary costs or losses.
- Meet customer expectations through professional service delivery.
- Participate in training programs to enhance performance and skill development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric (Grade 12) certificate
- 1–2 years of relevant driving experience in a similar environment
- A valid South African driver’s license
