Role Purpose

To deliver prompt, professional, and effective support to clients by managing telephonic and electronic enquiries, ensuring efficient service delivery, and upholding customer satisfaction.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services sector (advantageous)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client service role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Employee Benefits experience (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

Client Service

  • Respond to client and service provider calls regarding benefits and general queries
  • Strive for first-call resolution by resolving enquiries efficiently
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete in line with internal policies
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to support accurate responses
  • Meet or exceed service level agreements and maintain professional communication
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention

Administration & Systems

  • Accurately capture data and manage documentation
  • Ensure timely completion of all administrative duties and reports
  • Maintain proper filing for easy access by relevant team members

Team & Collaboration

  • Foster strong working relationships within the team and across departments
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and innovation
  • Embrace change and contribute positively to the work environment

Compliance & Risk

  • Follow procedures and escalate risks as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and client fairness

Finance & Resources

  • Contribute to cost-effective operations and resource management
  • Support financial planning and risk identification within the team
