Position: Hygiene Operator / Cleaner

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Hygiene Operator to carry out cleaning duties in accordance with Ecowize Standards, using the 10-Step Cleaning Process to ensure a food-safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the 10-Step Cleaning Process daily to meet food safety compliance
- Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment
- Execute all operational cleaning tasks (CIP and Deep Cleaning) effectively
- Maintain a positive relationship with the client and meet service expectations
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule and complete assigned tasks consistently
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Proven experience in deep cleaning (essential)
- Experience in wet plant cleaning, further processing, or abattoirs is an advantage
- Willing and able to work various shifts, including weekends
- Experience in managing chemical stock is required
- Ability to follow daily work instructions precisely
Candidate Profile:
- Comfortable working in line with Ecowize’s culture and values
- Must be flexible with shift work, including weekends
- Background in food production is beneficial
- Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit, energetic, and results-driven
- Strong communication and customer service skills
