Job Description:
Purpose of the Role:
To provide effective cleaning services within the designated work area, ensuring the space remains hygienic, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Position Summary:
The role requires performing a variety of cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Clean assigned areas in accordance with set standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Ensure workspaces remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Plan and manage daily tasks to meet performance targets and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide daily feedback on task completion to support informed decision-making.
- Address routine cleaning issues and escalate unresolved problems promptly.
Finance:
- Carry out tasks efficiently to enhance productivity and reduce delays, supporting the broader goals of the team or department.
Client Service:
- Deliver services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Complete tasks to a high standard, contributing to customer satisfaction.
People:
- Perform daily duties and participate in training to continuously improve work quality.
- Uphold and embody the company’s core values in all interactions and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar cleaning or maintenance environment
Skills and Attributes:
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record
- Friendly, professional attitude, even when handling repetitive tasks
