Business Administrator (Group Network)

Introduction

We are currently seeking a Group Network Business Administrator to be placed at our client’s site in Midrand. This is a contract-based role ideal for a proactive professional with strong coordination and business administration skills.

  • Hourly Rate: R197.70 (No benefits)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Business Coordinator to manage and align various administrative and operational tasks with business goals. The successful candidate will bring strong communication abilities, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit to help improve team performance and drive process optimization through actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the main liaison between the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Present clear and concise project updates, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through ongoing communication and feedback.
  • Address and resolve stakeholder concerns proactively to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Team Collaboration

  • Promote a positive team environment and support team engagement initiatives.
  • Mentor colleagues and assist with professional growth and development.
  • Organize team-building exercises and training sessions.
  • Mediate team conflicts and contribute to a cohesive work culture.
  • Celebrate achievements and encourage motivation across the team.

Administrative Coordination

  • Maintain well-organized records and documentation for projects and operations.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track follow-ups.
  • Support general office functions including correspondence, scheduling, and filing.
  • Implement systems and procedures to enhance administrative efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on team performance metrics and deliverables.

Business Process Improvement

  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement efficiency strategies.
  • Analyze performance data and KPIs to guide decision-making.
  • Conduct reviews and propose improvements to business practices.
  • Assist in cross-functional efforts for business development and growth.
  • Develop innovative strategies to optimize team productivity and workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business coordination or project management within a corporate setting.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Prior experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
