Job Title: Stock Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract)

Job Overview
We are seeking a Stock Administrator on a fixed-term contract to oversee and manage all stock-related administrative functions across our branches. This role is critical in ensuring optimal stock levels, analysing stock data, managing stock demand, and minimising losses.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Maintain proper filing of all stock-related documents (both physical and digital) in accordance with SOPs
- Ensure all systems and processes align with established SOPs
Stock Management
- Purchasing:
- Place purchase orders in line with branch schedules and stock level requirements
- List new products in collaboration with branch management and procurement
- Receiving & Warehouse Management:
- Accurately receive stock deliveries and ensure target gross profit margins are maintained
- Handle supplier returns with due diligence
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and security
- Inventory Control:
- Lead and manage the branch stock-taking process
- Make necessary stock adjustments
- Track and manage expired or obsolete stock
- Work with the branch manager to oversee all controllable stock-related matters
- Manage petty cash according to internal guidelines
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 3–5 years’ experience in retail, bookkeeping, or stock administration
- Previous supervisory experience
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Outlook & Excel)
- Proficient in using retail ERP systems
- IT literacy
- FMCG industry experience is essential
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
- No criminal record
