Administrator (Receiving Clerk)

Introduction

Our client, a well-established manufacturer and retailer of air-conditioning products, is seeking a Receiving Administrator to join their warehouse operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-focused, and has experience managing the receiving function within a warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily receiving operations within the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate and timely receipting, labeling, and storage of incoming goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock accuracy through efficient record-keeping.
  • Supervise and guide receiving staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized receiving area, safeguarding goods and ensuring operational safety.

Requirements

  • Matric certificate (compulsory).
  • Proven experience in a similar receiving/warehouse administration role.
  • Syspro experience is essential.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all warehouse documentation and processes.

Salary

R13,000 – R15,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
