Administrator/Receptionist

We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Receptionist and Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing a busy national switchboard and providing comprehensive administrative support. The ideal candidate will excel at multitasking, demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, and perform well under pressure with professionalism and maturity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of incoming calls in both Afrikaans and English
  • Handle general telephone and email inquiries efficiently
  • Assist with the operation of a busy national switchboard
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients
  • Send relevant documentation to customers and follow up on outstanding information
  • Perform general office administration duties
  • Support the team with ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • A tertiary qualification or current part-time tertiary studies (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Switchboard Operator, Call Centre Agent, or in a similar administrative role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner, with a positive and energetic demeanor
  • Maturity and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage difficult client interactions effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport
  • Availability to work two Saturdays per month on a rotational basis
  • Preferably based in Pretoria-East; however, candidates from Johannesburg and Cape Town will also be considered

Package & Remuneration

  • R20 000 – R25 000 CTC per month
