Position Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our homechoice Showroom team. In this role, you’ll handle customer queries, process payments, manage refunds and credits, and play an integral part in the daily administration and stockroom operations. Your contribution will directly impact the overall success of the showroom by supporting sales growth and creating a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales Support
- Deliver exceptional customer service by creating welcoming and positive interactions that foster long-term relationships.
- Provide thorough product knowledge and process guidance to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist customers throughout their journey, from account opening to order processing, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
- Actively support new business activations and identify opportunities to attract new customers and increase sales.
Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Maintain showroom appearance through effective merchandising and adherence to brand presentation standards.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized environment for customers and staff at all times.
Stock & Inventory Management
- Oversee daily stockroom operations, including catalogue stock accuracy and inventory tracking.
- Support stock replenishment and perform daily inventory checks to ensure efficient product availability.
Administration & Documentation
- Manage customer documentation and ensure accuracy in all administrative processes.
- Handle customer returns, refunds, and credits with efficiency and professionalism.
- Support store reporting and maintain up-to-date operational records.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 3 or 4
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail store environment
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative support role
