Admin Officer (Customer Services)

Salary: R371,208 – R509,256 per annum (basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Administration or a relevant NQF Level 6 qualification
  • 3–5 years of experience in a payroll environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and organizational support to ensure high-quality service delivery to departments, employees, and service providers
  • Establish and manage an effective filing system in compliance with the National Archives and Records Services Act
  • Draft, compile, and distribute approved policies, guidelines, and procedures for implementation across relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between the Senior Manager and internal/external role players
  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficient workflow
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend meetings and workshops as required
  • Prepare, record, and maintain procedural documents, manuals, and council resolutions electronically, in line with legislative requirements
  • Assist the Senior Manager in delivering front-line operational support aligned with the section’s Integrated Development Plan
  • Ensure all tasks comply with governance standards and legislative requirements
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and SOPs to minimize waste and manage associated risks
  • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation and apply people management practices
