Admin Assistant (Filling)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a payroll or salary administration environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Pay Offices by accurately capturing and securely storing records and documentation, in line with established systems and procedures
  • Apply and enhance municipal administrative processes and best practices in managing salary-related records
  • Ensure all record-keeping systems are accurate and up to date
  • Open and maintain employee files as needed
  • Prepare and manage all relevant documents related to salary administration
  • Assist salary administrators with routine administrative tasks, including front-desk or counter duties
  • Handle and resolve pay office-related queries
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
