Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Basic Security Training (PSIRA certified)
- Clean criminal record (no involvement in unlawful activities)
- PSIRA registration as a Security Officer (minimum Grade C; Grade A is advantageous)
- At least 1 year of experience in a security-related role
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the premises, personnel, and assets to maintain a secure environment
- Perform access control duties to ensure safety through a visible security presence
- Handle administrative tasks to support smooth operational processes
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to maintain order and safety
- Monitor CCTV systems to deter criminal activity and protect municipal property
