About the Role

PwC is seeking a Personal Assistant to deliver high-level administrative support to Partners within the Assurance Line of Service. This role ensures the seamless operation of the business by effectively managing schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and confidential communications.

You’ll be a key player in driving organisational efficiency and facilitating professional interactions. The role demands someone who is adaptable, proactive, and skilled in working under pressure while maintaining high standards of service.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Support:

  • Manage Partner diaries, schedule meetings, and take minutes
  • Handle local and international travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, car hire)
  • Complete time and expense claims
  • Prepare professional correspondence, proposals, presentations, and executive packs
  • Assist with ad hoc personal tasks for directors

Administrative Support to Assurance Line:

  • Download and circulate risk reports, address queries
  • Coordinate with SAICA Administrator to ensure trainee bookings meet required hours
  • Run job costing reports and provide other requested reports

Retain Resource Management:

  • Book clerks on jobs as requested by managers
  • Respond to inter-office resourcing requests (e.g., stock counts)
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts in the retain system
  • Generate availability and overtime reports; analyse to optimise trainee time usage
  • Provide general administrative support to Associate Directors

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric certificate
  • Bookkeeping or Executive Secretarial Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years’ administrative experience in a professional services environment

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Capable of engaging with senior-level professionals
  • Experience preparing professional documents and presentations
