Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated General Worker – Scaler to support operations in the Promix Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate weighing and handling of materials in compliance with all safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies at all times—no shortcuts permitted
- Retrieve materials based on the Recipe List
- Assist with lifting and moving loads weighing approximately 25kg
- Accurately weigh ingredients or chemicals to meet portioning and safety standards
- Label, package, and palletize materials by batch as per Recipe List
- Record weights and supplies clearly and without error
- Perform scale checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Report depleted stock items promptly
- Keep records organized and maintain a clean, orderly workspace
- Move materials between designated areas
- Complete and verify documentation for all tasks performed

Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in the milling industry
- At least 1 year of experience as a packing operator
Key Working Conditions:
- Hot and noisy milling environment
- Required to work overtime and outside of normal hours
- Exposure to heavy mechanical and electrical equipment
- Shift-based work schedule
