Job Overview
A wholesale distribution company based in Silverton is seeking a reliable and experienced Code 10 Truck Driver to join the team on a fixed-term contract of 3 months. The ideal candidate should reside near Silverton and have hands-on experience operating Code 10 UD trucks for deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to customer destinations.
- Assist with picking, loading, and unloading of stock.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in proper working condition.
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience in the Food and Beverage Wholesale industry is advantageous.
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License.
- Valid PrDP for goods and passengers.
- Defensive Driving Course certification is a plus.
