Admin Assistant (Filling)

Salary: R231,156 – R317,076 per annum (basic salary, plus benefits)
Contract Type: Permanent


Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a payroll-related environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Pay Offices, ensuring that all documentation is accurately captured, stored, and safeguarded according to procedures
  • Apply and refine municipal administrative systems and procedures for effective salary administration and record management
  • Ensure proper maintenance of filing systems and documentation
  • Open and manage employee personnel files as needed
  • Generate and update salary-related records and documentation
  • Assist salary administrators with general office duties and perform counter service when required
  • Handle and resolve queries related to the Pay Office
  • Uphold a strong customer service approach in all interactions
