Join Our Team as an Admissions Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Admissions Administrator to support our growing academic institution. This vital role is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the student application and enrolment process. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate data handling, effective communication with key stakeholders, and adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Education, Administration, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in an academic or admissions-related role
- Solid understanding of higher education admissions processes
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (CHE, SAQA, DHET) is advantageous
- Experience with SAQA evaluation of international qualifications is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify student applications to ensure they meet admission criteria
- Maintain and update student records accurately across all systems
- Monitor and manage the entire admissions and enrolment workflow
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with prospective students and internal departments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including the Matriculation Board, DHET, CHE, and SAQA
