Position: Storeman (Temporary)

Salary: R14,000 – R15,000 per month

Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Technical training is highly advantageous
- 2–4 years of experience in a similar storeman or warehouse role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Age preference: 25–45 years
- Solid knowledge of stock control and warehouse management systems
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive work ethic
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods; verify accuracy against purchase orders
- Properly store materials with correct labelling and organization
- Maintain accurate stock records, track movement, and update inventory systems
- Pick and pack materials for production use and outbound dispatch
- Assist with regular stock counts and audits
- Monitor expiry dates and implement stock rotation protocols
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in all storage areas
- Report damaged or missing stock to supervisors promptly
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery if qualified
