About the Role:
Objective Personnel is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Picker and Packer to join our warehouse team in Roodepoort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and packing them securely for dispatch. This role is crucial to ensuring that our customers receive the right products, in perfect condition, on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick stock accurately according to order slips or digital systems
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials and methods
- Label packages clearly with shipping and handling information
- Prepare parcels for dispatch, including palletizing and staging
- Assist in receiving and sorting incoming stock when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report any discrepancies, damaged items, or stock issues to supervisors
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 10; Matric (Grade 12) preferred
- Previous experience as a picker/packer in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Good understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret order lists and labels accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
