Position Title: Administrative Officer

Location: Alberton Campus, Germiston, Gauteng

Salary: R325,101 – R382,959 per annum (Salary Level 7) + benefits


Educational Requirements

  • Matric / National Senior Certificate
  • National N Diploma or National Diploma in Management Assistant, Public Management, or a related field

Minimum Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in administration
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of ITS (Integrated Tertiary Software) is advantageous

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support
  • Compile the campus enrolment plan for NCV and Report 191 programmes
  • Collect departmental information and compile reports for Campus Management and the A-Team
  • Draft reports, presentations, and various forms of correspondence
  • Administer Human Resource functions, including:
    • Leave form coordination and submission to Central Office
    • Performance Management and Development System (PMDS) documentation handling
    • Staff attendance register maintenance
  • Oversee procurement activities:
    • Recommend purchase requests to the Campus Manager
    • Receive goods and services
    • Follow up on procurement requisitions
  • Manage and maintain filing systems in line with QMS and the National Archives Act
  • Support student registration and examination processes:
    • Assist with registration
    • Store student portfolios of evidence and records
    • Coordinate registration and examination procedures
