Introduction
A well-established construction and interior design company based in Paarl, Cape Town is looking to hire a reliable and experienced Code 10 Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials and goods to various sites, supporting smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials, equipment, and goods safely to and from designated locations
- Ensure punctual and accurate deliveries in line with daily schedules
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Keep the company vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy
- Comply with all road traffic laws and company safety policies
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials when required
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless logistics and delivery operations
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s License (PDP is advantageous but not mandatory)
- Previous experience in driving and delivery, preferably in the construction or interior design sectors
- Familiarity with Cape Town, Paarl, and surrounding areas
- Strong route planning and time management skills
- Clear and professional communication abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime when needed
Remuneration:
- R8,000 per month (Cost to Company)
