Job Title:
Rodent Control Ambassador (Temporary Assignment)

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent qualification
- Must reside in Ekurhuleni, specifically within the ward where services will be rendered (Proof of residence required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door visits within a designated ward to educate residents and carry out surveys
- Distribute pamphlets and other informational material on rodent control and environmental health issues
- Engage and mobilize community members for educational campaigns and block meetings
- Identify and follow up on rodent-infested properties, and provide detailed feedback reports
- Coordinate and communicate with Environmental Health Practitioners
- Participate actively in community rodent control campaigns
- Report directly to the assigned Environmental Health Practitioner
- Achieve a daily target of inspecting at least 30 premises
- Maintain accurate daily attendance and data collection records
- Log the number of premises visited and pamphlets distributed
- Record details of infested properties and subsequent follow-up actions
- Conduct health talks and assist with attendance management during community meetings and campaigns
